Putin says Russia must restrict access to military, economic data
MOSCOW, Dec 20 (PRIME) -- Prohibiting access to confidential military and economic information is necessary, Russian President Vladimir Putin told state security officials on Thursday.
“We see that Russia’s security is now tested in practically all directions. Foreign intelligence’s activity is growing. All these mean higher requirements to counterintelligence,” Putin said.
“We have to stop access to confidential, secret data of military-political, economic, scientific nature and to ensure secure and prompt protection of our latest defense R&D. We are seriously beyond the other leading world countries in some respects.”
